Thanksgiving Style Guide

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and we've created the best accessory combinations for all of your outfits on this holiday evening. Read on to hear our Designer, Amrita, and Andrea of Astoria in Heels (and our November Brand Ambassador) tell you why they love these looks!

Thanksgiving Hostess

Tailored Pants, Moda Operandi. White Top, She Inside. Flats, Ali Express.

Amrita: "I love clean lines and neutral colors. After spending a big portion of the day getting ready for the holiday dinner, a simple white top and slacks makes the look feel soft and airy. That way no one would ever guess there might have been chaos in the kitchen. Also, if there's still a chance that I'll still need to run around a bit, I stick to pretty ballet flats and simple pieces like the Vittoria Necklace and the Bergman Pearl Stud. Simple, stylish, glamorous."

Andrea: "Black and white are one of my favorite combinations. Pairing a simple white blouse with these gold pieces creates a timeless and classic look. In addition, these adorable flats add to this lady-like and modern look that is great for spending time with the family."

Thanksgiving with Family

Gold Skirt, Mod Cloth. Blouse, Anthony Vaccarello. Pumps, Malden Lane.

Amrita: "I love homecooked family Thanksgiving, and like to dress up to the nines as my way of saying "thank you." I also set up an outfit that is slimming - that way I can have more delicious food! The beautiful shine of the think this has a great slumming effect. Since it's a fun, festive occasion, I swap out dramatic dark colors for the cheerful bright sparkle of the white Druzy Necklace paired with the Aztec Knot Earrings to bring sparkle to my look. The white jade Bridgehampton Evening Ring completes the look!"

Andrea: "I enjoy getting dressed up for the holidays. Thanksgiving is a special occasion and it calls for glitzy jewelry to celebrate. The Druzy Necklace is a great addition of sparkle that will dress up any outfit. These drop earrings are playful and lets everyone know you are ready to have fun this holiday season."

Turtleneck Dress, Ali Express. Combat Boots, Charlotte Rousse.

Amrita: "A casual thanksgiving potluck is the perfect time to dress casually but let your accessories do the talking. I like to wear a comfy turtleneck dress with boots that fit with the weather. Accessories like the Love Me Knot Studs and the Saddle River Necklace keep it simple and classy, but don't get in the way of helping in the kitchen."

Andrea: "Going casual on Thanksgiving is great for those times when your surrounded by lots of loving people and want to be comfortable moving around. Especially if you are going to play games after the meal! A sweater dress with this Saddle River Necklace and Love Me Knot studs is stylish and trendy yet simple enough to not get in your way."

V-Neck Sweater, John Lewis. Black Jeans, Grazia Shop. Coat, Victoria's Wing. Booties, Steve Madden.

Amrita: "When I'm traveling for the holidays, I want to stay comfy and not worry about things like ironing, or bulky jewelry. This look is fun because I can wear the Priscilla Pendant to work, then just add the Starburst Stud Earrings and Delhi Bangle Set for a pretty holiday look with lots of sparkle!"

Andrea: "I always travel for the holidays and need to be comfortable and stylish at the same time. Leather leggings paired with a sweater keep me warm on cold planes and this Priscilla Pendant is perfect to go from the airport to your family’s house to celebrate. The Delhi Bangle set and Starburst earrings add sparkle and shine to your outfit that no one would ever know you just spent the last few hours on a plane!"
