What is the return/exchange policy?

EXTENDED HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY: All orders placed from now until December 31st, 2019 can submit Return and Exchange requests by January 10th, 2020. 

Items received within 15 days are eligible for return or exchange. If you decide to return an item after 15 days but within 30 days of the original purchase date, the item is eligible for exchange or store credit only. The item(s) must have the original tags intact and attached. Please contact Customer Service to request a return or exchange authorization. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are paid by the buyer. You will need to have the following information ready:
  1. Email address used to make the purchase
  2. Order invoice number (this is the 5-digit number on your packing receipt and also in your order shipping email) 
  3. Product name(s) – e.g., Amrita Grandiose Necklace
  4. Style Number – e.g., NKC 1403
  5. Size and/or color – e.g., size 6, black/gold
  6. Reason for return

When can I expect my refund?

Once a returned item or items have been received by our warehouse, we process the Return Authorization. Returns for store credit typically post the next business day. Returns for refunds can take 5-10 business days to be processed. Please note that some banking institutions do not post credits to your account until the next billing cycle. Refunds for items purchased by Paypal must be processed within 30 days of the original order. This is a Paypal policy, so please make the decision to return an item as soon as possible if you use this payment method.

I bought an Amrita Singh item somewhere other than amritasingh.com. Can I return or exchange it through you?

If you encounter any problems with pieces you order or receive from retailers such as Saks, RueLaLa.com or Amazon, please contact the retailer.

 

Will I receive my order in time for Christmas 2019? 

Orders with standard shipping are usually fulfilled and shipped within 7-10 business days, unless otherwise noted.

We strongly suggest expedited shipping for guaranteed delivery. Expedited shipment orders must be placed by 2PM EST weekdays to guarantee shipment on that day. All orders placed Friday, after 2PM EST will be shipped on Monday. When your order ships, we will send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

How do I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry looking fresh and beautiful, do not expose it to water or cleaners, as this may cause the plating to tarnish. The jewelry should be kept out of extreme heat and humidity, and should avoid substances such as sweat, perfume and other erosive liquids.

Is Amrita Singh jewelry lead and nickel free?

Amrita Singh jewelry meets the strictest industry requirements for lead and nickel content as set by California Proposition 65. All of our jewelry are hypoallergenic and we guarantee that all metals used in our jewelry are completely free of lead and nickel or contain only trace amounts deemed insignificant by the strictest standard for lead and nickel safety. We proudly text every single style, to ensure they all meet our rigorous standards.

What’s the best way to choose a complimentary piece for my new Amrita Singh jewelry?

Another great way to style your look is shopping within our collections. For example, pieces within our Hamptons Collection are all designed using the same stone colors, detailing, and motifs, so that pieces from the Hamptons collection will always look gorgeous together. The same is true of all our collections.

What happens if I miss my package's delivery?

When your order is shipped you receive a shipping email containing your tracking number. Most carriers try multiple times to deliver your package. If a carrier is unsuccessful in delivering your package, it is shipped back to our warehouse. Shipping charges for special requests such as reshipment orders may be higher than the shipping charges for normal web orders. In these cases, your customer service representative will make the shipping cost known to you at the time that the order is placed.
